Christianity and Islam

Christianity and Islam

Christianity and Islam are the world's two largest religions. The 2.3 billion people who identify themselves "Christian" make Christianity the largest religion. Within the next 30 years, however, Islam's 1.8 billion Muslims are projected to grow faster and surpass the number of Christians, driven by a higher birth rate, currently at 3.1 per Muslim woman.

Will Christianity and Islam coexist or collide?

Muslims say Islam and Christianity have the same God. Christians say Allah of Islam is not the God of Christianity and ascribe divinity to Jesus, who Muslims say was only a prophet, like Muhammad, who Christians say was not a prophet.
