Christian Spiritual Warfare

Where are the resources for the Christian spiritual warfare in places like China, North Korea and against Islam? According to one large Christian denomination, for every $1 spent on Christian missions, its churches in the West spend $5 on the interest payments (not even the principal) on church building mortgages.

That money - the Lord's money - as well as more prayers and workers must flow to the frontline of Christian spiritual warfare where Christians engaged in fierce spiritual warfare need Bibles - the sword of the Holy Spirit - more than Christians in the West need buildings.

For China, they should be directed at the organizations that deliver Bibles to the underground house church Christians, especially to those who do it with the highest efficiency (i.e., most Bibles for the money). And more able Bible teachers should go to China to teach.

For North Korea, more resources and prayers should be directed at the organizations that broadcast the Gospel, float Bible balloons, arrange for Bibles to be hand-smuggled, and find other innovative ways penetrate the Satan's most notorious stronghold in the world today.

Meanwhile, the spread of Islam around the world gives every Christian the privilege and the duty to not just pray and support organizations afar, but to personally engage in spiritual warfare by witnessing to their Muslim co-workers, classmates and neighbors.

Ultimately, Islam or any other religion cannot penetrate where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is strong. The entry and spread of Islam indicates a spiritual void where religiosity has replaced the Gospel of Christ. Islam's spread is not the cause but a symptom of spiritual decay. Many Christian groups must first cry out to Jesus in repentance, return to and sharpen their sword of the Holy Spirit.
