PEOPLE OF THE BOOK

Muslims consider themselves the 'people of the book' but many people who seek truth in their book don't find it. When introduced to the Book of Issa ("Jesus" in Arabic) - Bible - many of these people of the book recognize its truth and soak it up like dry sponge touching water.

In "closed" Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia, one of the most efficient ways to make that introduction is via (Arabic) Christian internet websites, chat rooms, radio and cable/satellite programs that penetrate directly to the computer and TV screens of the People of the Book.

In countries like Turkey and Egypt where hard copy Bibles still can be imported or printed and distributed, albeit under actual and threatened danger, the people involved in such ministries should receive increased support and prayer protection.

In Europe and North America, Christians must individually take up their sword of the Holy Spirit, which is the Word of God, and witness to the Muslims who live, work and study with them. And since Muslims turning to Christ often lose their family, friends, jobs, housing, even safety, Christians across the world must also be ready to embrace, support and protect their new siblings in Christ with actions and means, as well as with prayers.

Islam, which denies the atoning death, resurrection and deity of Christ, ultimately cannot be reconciled with Christianity. One or the other must give. If Christians don't approach Muslims with the truth of the Bible, Islam will continue to encroach across Europe, America and beyond.

It also wouldn't hurt to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of Islamists and to dry up the financing for Islam's expansion by weaning ourselves from dependence on Islamic nations' oil.
