4. Communism was originally Christian.

Until it became distorted in the 19th century, communism was Christian. Communism's original intent - the promotion of communal well being and disdain of selfishness - is rooted in the words of Jesus and the examples set by Him and His disciples, the first Christians.

The words in red below are from the Christian Bible. Please see whether or not they sound "communist":

"For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened; but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack - that there may be equality. As it is written, 'He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.'" (2 Corinthians 8:13-15)

Jesus gave everything he had to those in need and did not even own a house, as this passage in the Christian Bible, in which Jesus refers to Himself as "Son of Man," indicates:

And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head." (Luke 9:58)

The Christian Bible also records Jesus telling His disciples to follow His example:

The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?" Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." (Matthew 19:20-21)

And they did:

"Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need." (Acts 4:32-35)

The true original adherents to "communism" were Christians, who actually walked their talk.

5. Sun Tzu would recommend reading the Bible.

Sun Tzu famously said that you need to know your enemy well. Christianity is not your enemy. But if the Party has told you otherwise, you should at least learn about this "enemy," and the best way to learn about Christianity is to read the Bible for yourself. Start with the Gospel of John, which is the fourth book in the New Testament and the key that unlocks the other books of the Bible. Here is a good study of the Gospel of John in Chinese.
